They say art imitates life, but after one listen to this EP by The Rust Belt Demons you will surely agree with me that sometimes LIFE imitates ART! With a name like Rust Belt Demons the mind conjures up images of rotting factories, working class strife and the neglect of the American manufacturing industry. The music has the grit that such angst would produce but layered throughout the entire album is fine musicianship and melody that fans of bands like Hudson Falcons, Social Distortion, Street Dogs will surely appreciate. Look for a new full length CD to come out this year, hopefully on WCR!
